Help us to continue to stock local pantry shelves with pet food

Right now the biggest need in animal welfare for individual families is help with PET FOOD. Since we began we have supported the Montclair Human Needs Food Pantry by donating both cat and dog food for its clients. Now more than ever people need help to get thru this time and being able to feed their pets is a lifeline for families with four-footed members.

At the beginning of the pandemicWe are establishing a separate fund that will be used solely for donations to families to help feed their companion animals. These animals can't survive on their own and need our help.

UPDATE: We have worked with our partners to get grants and both Pet Valu and Corrado's Pet Markets to buy food in bulk for this purpose. The first $2000 grant from Alley Cat Allies was used for colony caregivers and recently we matched that with another $2000 and worked with Corrado's to purchase more food in bulk, mainly for distribution at the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair and Park Place Methodist Church of Bloomfield.

Funds are limited everywhere and we may not be able to continue this effort without your help. Give what you can.

Meowy thanks in advance for helping people and their pets during this very difficult time.
