Can you help us raise $12K in 12 days? It all starts with $12.

"We're so hungry. Will you come back again tomorrow?"

"My battle scars make me look tough, but I don't want to fight anymore."

"I just turned 4 months old, and I'm already pregnant. Will my life always be like this?"

Do you have a pet that you love? Imagine if, to no fault of her own, she started her life outside. Would you want her babies to grow up and suffer like she did?

Of course not. That's why we do what we do.

Every cat we encounter has a story, and they aren't all happy. But we're taking 12 days to celebrate our 12 favorite tales from this year. Concerned citizens stepping up and trapping on behalf of an elderly friend; a dog-loving caregiver trapping her entire community cat colony in one weekend, and so much more our hearts could burst! We are so proud to have played a part, and to share them with you now.

We recently helped get our 1900th cat neutered! But to continue our lifesaving work, we need your help. Donations are down 40% from pre-COVID times. If we can't raise money, we can't continue. And when most kittens born outside die, the work we do is urgent.

By supporting CPAW NJ, you're supporting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). It's a solution to the dire problem that is cat overpopulation in New Jersey. Every shelter and animal rescue is filled to the brim year round. Every spay or neuter saves generations - hundreds, even thousands - of kittens from being born outside with uncertain fates. And the pandemic has complicated things further, making precious resources like funds and low cost appointments, even more limited.

Cats live longer, healthier lives when they are neutered. They also become better neighbors because nuisance behaviors like fighting, yowling, spraying, and roaming looking for a mate are reduced significantly.

Help us help them by donating $12 today. And then if you ask 4 friends to donate, and that's $60.. about the cost of surgery for a community cat!

When you click the Donate button, you will be prompted to pick a virtual gift, though you can give any amount.
